Hey everyone!

I’m a PMU artist specializing in hyper-natural nano brows, and one of the things I care most about is the longevity of my work.

I’ve been noticing some concerning posts on here lately, bad healed results and a lot of misinformation floating around, so I wanted to share some honest, experience-based insight.

Not all nano brows will fade to an undesirable color over time. When brows shift in color, it usually comes down to a few key reasons:

  1. Improper implantation — going too deep into the skin
  2. Wrong color selection — choosing a shade too dark for the client’s skin tone
  3. Over-saturation — implanting too much pigment

If you’re concerned about color longevity, I’d strongly encourage you to dig through an artist’s portfolio and look specifically for their healed work, ideally annual touch-ups or results at least a year out. If an artist is frequently posting “color corrections,” I’d treat that as a red flag.

Trying to correct brows that have gone ashy or orange may look okay temporarily, but they’ll almost always revert, and often look worse than before.

A color boost after a few years is completely normal and expected, especially as brows naturally lighten. That’s not a red flag, that’s just how PMU works.

In my professional opinion: less is more. The most natural-looking brows carry the lightest amount of pigment. Restraint is a skill.

Here’s an example of my work before, immediately after, and healed at 1.5 years. 👇
