When I load an IPSW, after it says "Sending iBEC", it gets stuck on 100% for a while then disconnects my phone then it says "unable to enter recovery mode from DFU mode"

so my iphone 4 has a broken home button so i could not go on dfu mode so i used dfu ipsw on legacy ios kit, it worked then briefly showed up as device on dfu mode but then it suddenly disconnected and now it won't boot. did i just brick my device? lol
