Found this on a niche playlist and it’s been on repeat for an hour. It’s a haunting piece of industrial folk that feels like a post-apocalyptic world after war. The lyrics are incredibly dark—the line 'We built a home, we burned a sun' is one of the most chilling metaphors for I’ve heard lately (atomic bomb?).

The contrast between the cold, cybernetic female lead and that hollow children’s choir is pure nightmare fuel, but in a beautiful way. It starts as this weirdly out-of-tune ragtime and with a whistle that sounds like it’s coming from another world. If you like your music to feel like a world from Fallout, this is it."

Hi everyone!

I'm a train driver, and I've spent my night shifts crafting this 8-bit industrial project. This is my debut album, A Millionaire of Corpses.

The project features a specific duality: a deep, metal-influenced baritone clashing with high-energy, glitchy synth-punk vocals. It's meant to bridge the gap between 1980s arcade aesthetics and modern industrial decay.

I want to share the "lightest" moment of the record: "Fields of Rust".

While most of the album explores digital decay, this track is where the hope leaks through. It features a haunting children’s choir, whistling, and a bittersweet ragtime vibe. To me, it’s the heart of the project.

I'd love to hear your feedback on the vocal processing and the atmosphere. Does the AI-generated baritone feel authentic to you in an industrial setting?
