Not sure where to take this. I know it would be taken down in most major Rivals subreddits. This is my first Reddit post. I need to say something. I’ve stayed quiet for months.

Throwaway for many reasons.
I was part of Daniel Marin’s stream/discord/social media community for several months last year, and I was left deeply disappointed. At first I thought he was a genuinely cool guy. He is not. I went from being a huge fan to barely being able to touch the game after my experiences.
I reported a harassment situation and he allowed it to continue, after mods advised police intervention. (The situation involved two community members who frequented LA events, so this was an actual physical issue, not just online.) I had video evidence, which was provided.
The person who was doing the harassing was allowed to stay in the community with zero consequences. He’s well known by the Rivals voice actors, including Daniel, as he frequents almost every meet and greet.
Daniel has a zero harassment policy in his rules for his community. This harassment was dismissed, because there was also a rule against “personal drama”. It was directly caused by and occurred in Daniel’s community. He sent a message in the wrong discord channel which was promptly deleted making light of having to handle the situation. I know someone who has been kissed on the cheek by him at multiple IRL events. He asked my female friend to bend over while in a bodysuit cosplay on a livestream. I’ve been hit on as well. I took it all as jokes, until he joked about actual harassment. He gets very sexual with his jokes as well.
Supposedly his wife knows about how he acts and is okay with the “jokes”, but that’s just speculation based off of what I saw in his twitch chat/when he spoke on stream. If you look at his social media, he has videos where he hits on Invisible Woman cosplayers, other voice actors, etc. I used to laugh at these. Now I can’t help but feel rubbed the wrong way.
He’s 42 (as of the 27th) and hits on female fans half his age (or younger), including people who have been open about being in committed relationships. Even one married woman. He only hits on female fans, never male fans, which there are an abundance of.
Everyone giggles and likes the attention because it seems silly on the surface. Hell, even I laughed when he hit on me (on at least 3 separate occasions, although over twitch chat/discord voice channels during community play). It stopped being funny once I realized what kind of person he was.
He has a 3 year old daughter and a 5 year old son (ages as of late 2025?). He would regularly tell us to remind him to go pick up his 3 year old daughter from daycare/preschool. He would stay on stream for hours past when he was supposed to get his children and laugh about it when we reminded him. Maybe they had a way home. I don’t know. It did not seem like it.
Overall I just came to realize that he’s just generally not a great guy. Nobody talks about this in his community. I don’t think he’s shown his true colors to many people, other than a very select few. I highly recommend staying AWAY from his community. I stopped supporting him after all of this. I know it all sounds like some random bs, but it’s not. I’m still so genuinely upset over this, and extremely disappointed in him. I will not protect my “king” 🔱 until he protects his fans.
