hey, I just had a quick question. I've only recently discovered bloodhounds and I very much just researching the breed.

One of the things I want from our next large dog, is the ability to protect. From my reading on bloodhounds. they are very friendly and typically love people and watch people rob your house, for example.

My question is in the unlikely event that somebody came up to you and was actively being menacing or something that was an actual threat, do you think your bloodhound would be protective?
