My current BrickLink inventory:
- 43,532 items across 3,172 lots
- Mostly used parts
- Store: https://store.bricklink.com/cadechaplin#/shop
Right now, almost all of my sales come from minifigures and minifigure parts. I’ve uploaded a good amount of basic elements (bricks, plates, tiles, some modified parts), but I ran out of storage space before I could go much deeper into other categories.
I also have a decent number of sealed sets (mostly recent or not yet retired). I’m debating whether to part them out or hold them sealed longer.
My actual question:
Do you think parting out these sets to increase variety would meaningfully boost non-minifigure sales?
My concern is that my current inventory doesn’t have enough depth/variety for buyers to place worthwhile “buildable” orders, so they skip my store unless they’re buying figs.
Curious what’s worked for others in a similar position does increasing variety from part-outs noticeably improve order volume for parts, or are there other factors I should focus on first?
