Question post fistulotomy

Hey guys !

I had a fistulotomy 4 weeks ago. Healing has going good but these last 3-4 days have been weird.

My wound had started to get swollen and tight like a pressure inside it from no where then just disappeared after like 30min an hour. Been doing this for like 3-4 days. I just can’t understand what triggers this to happen then it goes away then does it again.

Is this normal ?

Have this happened to any pf you guys ?

What prep is the best of laxabon, plenvu , movprep ?

Hey guys im doing my colonoscopy 4weeks post fistula surgery for my crohns diagnosis.

Im having 3 options to take, laxabon, plenvu or movprep. What ones of these you guys recommend taking depending on my situation ?

Also this is the first time drinking the prep. How bad is the diarrhea gonna be like ? Is it really gonna be 20-30 BM in one day wtf lol ?

Isn’t this gonna affect my healing wound. My CRS said its gonna be hard but not dangerous. I cant believe him tho so im turning to you experienced people over here.

I had a abcess then simple fistula and have had 7 surgeries now. This last surgery healing is finally going great and seems to have dealt with the problem.

But before my surgery i was diagnosed with crohns. They want to do a colonoscopy next week ( 4 weeks post op). Im really not trying to risk anything this early now that my healing process goes very well. I was thinking about rescheduling it until 8 weeks post op.

My question is.. can it be possible to heal my fistula after surgery without infliximab ? Cause the healing goes great. Have anybody with Crohns here heal it before treatment?

Hey guys i have done my fistulotomy surgery 2 weeks ago, and in about 2 weeks i have colonoscopy. I have highly suspected crohns because other tests and symptoms and fistula problems that wont solve with surgery.

My question is how am I supposed to do the prep with diarrhea and then the colonoscopy this early post op ?

Has anybody done this early post op as me ?

This was my 7th surgery so me rectum is pretty beaten and scared so everything heals slower aswell than normal post op healing.

I don’t know what to do or how to handle the whole colonoscopy process. But they don’t want to give me remicade before colonoscopy is done, so i don’t have a choice other than to do it…..::
