This is a list of things I’ve seen that people wish to be change or updated on. Everything here is small and I simply wanted to make a list to show everyone what has been asked around so far. I’ll update this as time goes on, but I’ll especially try to update it when the team says they cannot work on one of these things right now, so that people know. Also not everything in here I want, but because I see a lot of people want it, I include it. Anything that you don’t see here, may not be considered QOL or just hasn’t been brought up to me yet, so feel free to comment. :)

People have asked for:

Heated pool use- please make the heated pool at the inn usable.

New Years Kiss- please let us have a kiss that is alluded to in game.

Auto clear machine needs an upgrade- the trash collector machine is pretty bad for the cost. Most people shouldn’t get it as it is now and many want that to change.

Savannah update- I have heard the Savannah is underwhelming and I understand it. So I include it. Not sure what an update would look like.

Player birthday- the ability to register a birthday in the game and have something like gifts sent to the mail box or a small part.

Sell value- the want to put the sale value of items in any menu.

Furniture use- being able to sit and use the furniture in and out of the house, not just having it as decor.

Items on tables- to the previous note: placing items on tables would be nice.

Pin recipes- being able to pin a recipe so there’s not need to continuously keep going back to it when gathering items, especially early game when we don’t have a lot and will be forgetting some days.

Clothing purchases- when you go to purchase either clothing or furniture, it tells you if you already have purchased it or not.

Underwater animal autofeeder- self-explanatory. I don’t have underwater animals, so I didn’t know this.

What they said they can’t fix at this current time:

Hats messing up hair- please look to the dev log on the 1.3 update to know more.

Divorce system- 1.3 update Dev Blog for more information.

Couch co-op- again, 1.3 update dev blog. Also to find these, go to discord or their official site.

(This might be a nothing burger post for some of you.)

I an very critical person. I have always been. Even when I LOVE something, if it doesn’t meet the set expectations, I will voice my concerns. I’ve done it here before.

That being said, I was and will continue to be respectful. Always. I will always try to be the nicest I can be while voicing my honest opinions.

So I hate to see some many people being disrespectful to others, not just the devs.

I get it that some people REALLY wanted the AroAce representation, but that doesn’t mean that just because Agung isn’t that representation, that the team or the fandom don’t want it.

Just because someone is upset that Agung isn’t that representation, doesn’t mean you can be mean and say “they got that out of nowhere”. Representation matters a lot, I’m sure everyone understands that and it’s okay that they are feeling upset about having lost it, even if it wasn’t meant from the beginning.

Both sides can speak without being so mean and rude.

I will say it feels as though the side really hammering it in is the people devaluing what Agung was to the aroace part of the fandom. If that set really wanted it, that’s okay. It’s okay that they feel that way. It’s not okay for people to tell them to “get over it” or “it’s not a big deal” and even “they were being delusional”

It breaks my heart to see that stuff since this game is so incredibly inclusive and I doubt the devs would want people to say such things.

And to the people saying that the devs caved to pressure and should have just kept him Aroace, they made it clear that was never meant to be the case. It sucks, but not be mean to them or other people excited for him.

PART 2, because there is so more.

I wanted a date. You wanted a date, we all wanted a release date. There is none, that’s fine. Stop being rude.

Trust me, I didn’t even want this update, I really wanted kids grow up. But, this what we are getting and as the team has proven before, they care about quality overall.

I’m still sad and disappointed, yes, but I’m not going to raise a pitchfork and be mean about it.

So, don’t like how they put out updates without a potential date? Give them critical and constructive criticism and feedback. Stop thinking anyone is going to listen to your ranting. They won’t. Plain and simple.

Upset about the jealousy system? Respectful feedback.

Upset there won’t be a divorce system anytime soon? Tell them in a nice way.

I mean, look at everything everyone wants.

I want kids to grow up, someone else wants more festivals, another group wants a more complex jealousy system.

Where the heck do you expect them to find time? They can’t bend the laws of time to cater to something the major ain’t yapping about.

I do think they should have a poll of what people want more, so they can really hone in on those things, but as of now, they have their plans.

Do I wish those plans were clearer? Yes.

Will they be in the future? Hopefully.

But that’s all we can do.

Personally, they should focus on kickstarter promises first, that’s just a must and a nonnegotiable, in my opinion.

After that, they gotta feel the community out. And that’s what I think this update is.

Not what I wanted, but what a lot of people did. And that’s okay. I mean, did you read everything that’s coming? If they said all of that when they first announced this update, people who have been over the moon.

Jealousy system, manual save, auto save, and more? Great! I know people really wanted that.

Especially the saves, I know console players will love that. I am a pc player, so that’s never been a need.

So yeah. Think more with kindness and respect before you be mean to others and the devs.

And yes, be critical. You can love something and be voice disappointment when it happens.
