have my first anything gyno in a week. I’m getting a transvaginal ultrasound because of irregular periods and I’m very nervous. I have OCD and a panic disorder coupled with lots of trauma which causes great distress around anything involving vulnerability. I’ve researched the actual process a ton already but it would be amazing if I could get real advice or tips. I’ve never been sexually active but regularly use large tampons and such, so I don’t think that there’s a hymen concern. I’m very nervous and unsure of how it’ll actually feel emotionally and physically (duh). I’m going to ask to insert it myself because I’m pretty uncomfortable with the idea of a stranger actually sticking it in for me. I see pictures of the tool and it looks big. I’m not sure if it’ll be easy to take.
