I thrifted this (likely) old bridesmaid dress and I was hoping to wear it to a wedding in a few weeks, but its super similar colour to the actual bridesmaid dresses at the wedding. (100% polyester chiffon, currently light/pale pink/blush)
I was thinking of getting a navy blue polyester dye and attempting to dye it in front load washer?
I see people have shared quite a few success stories of doing it in top loaders - but I don't have access to one.
I'd be happy if the navy blue dye results in a light lavender or blue or something. Just basically anything different from what it currently is.
I've got a back up dress if it fails, and I only spent $20 on the dress, so I'm not overly concerned.
Just wondering if there is anything I should know about attempting dyeing in a front load washer.
