I have been boxing for around 6 years now. i started with everlast gloves but thought they lacked longevity. Ive worn winnings and really liked them, however, way too expensive. ive liked the look of Reyes but found them to be overly tight on the hand and too tough. 4 years ago I bought a pair of Boxeo TM’s knowing nothing about the brand (I just thought they looked cool).
PERFORMANCE
I have used them relentlessly for sparring, bag work and pad work. They have never let me down. Super comfortable and extremely durable. They took a few sessions to break in, but once they were suited to me.. perfect. Loose enough to open and close my hand, tough enough for great punch response and support. i couldn’t be happier. They are barely marked, only a slight tear on the tip of the thumb (I hit a clip on a reflex bag) .
Customer Service
i recently received my second pair that was custom designed and made. TM gave me advice on sizing and weight discrepancy because I wanted a Velcro glove. They cost me $550 aud, which is close to the price of a stock standard pair of Cleto Reyes here in Aus. Now, Fedex fucked up and left the package on my door step in the open and they were stolen. because of the mishandle by the delivery I had to contact Torres Medina support and try to get a refund. Leo from Torres Medina did his utmost to support me, responding rapidly via email to resolve the issue and receive a refund from FedEx. Luckily I was able to track down the person who stole them and resolve that issue. However Leo‘s help was above the Line of his job responsibility. he would have no doubt seen it all the way through.
They have a customer for life 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough.
