Hello everyone! I have a distance family member who works for the VA as a rater, and my mother let slip my rating, at which point his response was “how the hell did you get rated at that” and got all defensive since his rating is slightly below mine, and he went to combat and I didn’t..
My question is, what access does he have to the general system? My personal medical records obviously isn’t something I want him poking through, can he look at my claims and medical history?.
I just didn’t know if there was anyone that worked for the VA that could clear up if he would actually snoop through my medical records by knowing my name and unit (nothing else really).
Not that I care as a whole, as my claims are pretty airtight. However there’s personal info I dont want him or others generally knowing
