Got the beast Mchose G75 Pro!

Hey Everyone!

This is my first mechanical keyboard.

I was researching since a long time to get a perfect mechanical keyboard it seems like I have finally got one. I ordered Mchose G75 Pro (Matcha Latte V2 switches) in Glacier Gradient colour variant from GenesisPC.

How did I decided to purchase this:

I wanted a mechanical keyboard from a very long time and my main requirements were typing experience, build quality and sound (thocky).

At first I almost ordered Kreo Swarm 75 on Flipkart because I wasn't into mechanical keyboards and wasn't aware of any third party seller like GenesisPC or NMPC. I went straight to Amazon/Flipkart and found Swarm to be highly reviewed in my budget. But I just thought to check Reddit to get others opinion before buying it. Then I discovered this sub and found Kreo to be most criticized brand.

Then I came to know about underrated brands like Aula, Ajazz and Mchose which are offering good quality keebs within my budget of 6k and got confused between Aula F75 and Mchose G75 Pro (G75 V2 wasn't officially launched at the time when I preordered it).

I did a lot of research upon switches, went into the deep mechanics and details of mechanical keyboards. Learned everything from switches, to keycaps, to gasket mount dampening layers, etc.

G75 Pro seemed to be a better choice as it was a little more expensive than F75 but I was getting double the battery, more thocky sound profile, better build quality, right amount of actuation force and pre travel needed for touch typing and lastly the I liked the color as I wanted to go with white theme keyboard.

I didn't go with G75 V2 as its switches (Ice Blue and Fast Gold V3) had lower actuation force/pre-travel which may cause mistypes while touch typing.

Here is my review

Sound Profile:

Sound is thocky and creamy which is exactly what I wanted and expected. So satisfying that I can type all day on it

Build Quality:

Really good quality material is used to build this and it has got some good weight (930g approx.)

Typing Experience:

Just amazing! My typing speed went from 120 WPM on membrane keyboard to 140 WPM on this bad boy

Connectivity:

It works flawlessly with 2.4 Ghz connection but there is an initial latency lag in bluetooth mode. I guess this is because of the power saving mode of my device which is preventing the keyboard to stay in active mode all the time

Battery Backup:

It's insane. I keep RGB always on while using it and I have spend more than 12 hours typing on it and the battery dropped to 85% from 95%

RGB:

RGB LEDs are so bright that I keep them on 60% brightness all the time and even that feels bright to my eyes. There are 16-17 default RGB modes with multiple color options for one single mode

Software:

You don't even have to download a software separately. Any customization regarding the RGB, macros, latency, etc. can be configured just using their web app (Mchose Web Hub).

Software has too many features and I haven't even explored all of them but they are easy to use and work flawlessly

Why MonkeyType is detecting me as a bot?

Hey guys!

I have been practicing 15 seconds tests on MonkeyType lately and noticed a pattern. Any result above 130 WPM fails to get saved. My personal best is still stuck at 131 WPM.

Please help me in solving this issue.
