So I got a message earlier today from my SM saying that they don't have enough hours allocated to be able to give everyone their contracted hours on the latest rota so they are just going to make me take holidays that week. Everyone else I've spoken to seems to have lost a couple of hours but nothing major and I'm the only person being made to take time off. Can I argue that I don't want my holidays forced on me or do I just have to accept it?
I'll see them tomorrow so I can talk face to face but I just wanted to know ahead of time what company policy says about this. I recently had a falling out with the SM too so was wondering if this is just their way at getting back at me or if forcing holidays on people is just something that's done regularly to make up a shortfall in hours.
