Hello, I'm an incoming freshman this school year. Unfortunately, I missed the NSA Cadet Program admission. I was planning to apply for the program once they're open again, but that would be for the next school year, meaning I will have a one year gap.
Is it possible to study at a private school (not affiliated with NSA) for my first year while waiting for their next application, then apply for NSA? Can I take the Cadet Program even if my school is not affiliated with NSA? Do I have to change school and go back to 1st year if I will take it?
P.s. also share some cadet programs or scholarships that are available for freshmen. Thank you to those who can answer.
