I noticed something odd on my Toshiba Tecra Z40-C.

If I hold both left click and right click at the same time, nothing happens at first. But once I start moving the mouse in any direction while holding both, it seems to trigger a middle click.

For example, in Minecraft Creative Mode, it activates Pick Block, which normally requires a middle click. So it looks like the system is actually registering a middle mouse input.

My touchpad uses the ALPS APoint2K driver, and in the settings the L+R combo is set to “None,” so I’m not sure if this is some hidden gesture or just how the driver behaves.

Has anyone else seen this before on ALPS touchpads or similar laptops?
