Central Florida Best Best Practices?

Hi everyone! I am new to backyard birdwatching and started out with a camera bird feeder and needless to say I am obsessed.

Due to the 2026 freezes, I had to remove a dying scrub oak and other foliage so I am almost started at zero. Looking for recommendations to make my backyard bird friendly so I can enjoy bird visitors for years to come.

Also any ideas to make my backyard as attractive as possible to a variety of birds in the meantime. I have a small bottle brush tree next to my bird feeder and patio lights the birds like to perch on.

Thank you in advance!
