It’s been since April 20 and I still don’t see a pending claim with my insurance. I’m just having anxiety over what’s going to be paid or not. Lab Corp said that they should be able to see a pending invoice 5-7 business days after service. How long does it usually take to show up in your insurance as received/pending?

I got my blood drawn on April 20th and I keep calling to check on the invoice etc but they still don’t see anything in my anthem portal nor labcorp portal. I’m very anxious because when they emailed my results, that same email with my results stated they will bill some random company that isn’t my insurance so I wanted to make sure they have the correct information. So I keep calling and yes I have major anxiety about medical billing stuff because my doctor sent in the electronic lab request and initially typed that I was the owner of my insurance when I’m a dependent on my husbands plan. When he went to edit my insurance, the diagnosis codes all fell off so then the office manually typed them all in. I really wanted them to send in a clean lab request but they were not helpful and said the labcorp worker can type them all in which they did. Now Labcorp told me they should of been able to see a “pending invoice” within 5-7 business days after service but its still not showing up so now I’m worried what’s taking so long. I don’t see anything in my Anthem or labcorp billing portal either. Any idea why it’s taking so long? Is this normal?
I have Anthem Blue Cross PPO and they took a copy of my insurance info. Why did they send me this email saying they’re billing some other company called Optum? My doctor isn’t affiliated with Optum either. Where in the world did Labcorp decide to change my insurance info to whatever this plan is? Is this a common glitch? Anyone experience this kind of email but it was a glitch and insurance was fine? I called the billing dept to try to check and they said they won’t be able to see an invoice for 5-7 days so to call back later. I’m just annoyed because I know I provided my insurance multiple times to them via online when I made the appt and also at the kiosk and handed the worker my card too.
“We will file a claim directly to OPTUM IPA-BL CROSS/CAL CARE (HCP). We will send a bill for any patient responsibility. Bills from your provider do not include charges for services performed by Labcorp.”
Anyone else have had this issue and labcorp actually did bill their correct insurance??
