So close to a perfect print!

Ive learned so much from tips on reddit, and my prints are so close to being perfect for me…

but

I simply cannot get my printer to stop printing this weird red mark here on my prints.

Paper: Epson VFA Printer: Epson ET8550

-I thought it was a saturation issue but, there are other areas of red that would require a lot of saturation and there isn’t even a hint of smudged/mis-printed ink. It’s just in this area along the bottom of the print. EVERY TIME.

-No other colours are showing up like this. It doesn’t appear on any preview.

-When I change to another ICC profile, for example using a matte profile on my VFA paper, it appears perfect, but the saturation and overall quality is obviously lower.

-I have tried lowering the red vibrancy in photoshop but the smudge still appears, just less noticeable.

  • I have tried lowering density in my Epson settings.

I have tried lengthening drying time.

Any ideas?

Thank you so much !
