Coincidence or not? Eating at least the recommended amount of protein per body weight per day (for adults)
Hi, everyone. I just wanted to share something that I think helped with my eczema. I started tracking my macronutrients about three weeks ago. Long story short, I have seen big improvements in my eczema when I started eating at least the recommended daily protein intake (0.8 gram per kilogram of body weight). I actually tried to hit 1.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight, because I have chronic open wounds from eczema, and, from my understanding, people who have chronic open wounds need to eat more protein to help their bodies heal and support their immune system.
Sidenote: I also started taking multivitamins around the same time.
Let me know if you guys have the same experience with this. I would really like to know! :)
