So I started a new blog a few days ago, added some posts, made it clear in the description it's a new blog and what it's about. took time sourcing my header and AVI and followed some blogs in the same theme / content type and liked and reblogged some posts.

Crickets. I have maybe one or two likes in over a week now and the only follow I got I had to block as they were a perv, yay.

Am I missing something? Do I need to use communities now? Can anyone give me a tip or two on how to start building an audience on Tumblr? Thanks!
