Hi All,

I'm new to this sub but active in r/Antiques . Found this little book in a dollar bin at a coffee shop the other day and thought it was cute with the makeshift paper dust jacket (which subsequently fell apart later when I was paging through) and the writing inside from the presumably first owner. A google search only showed that this is available on Amazon as a brand new re-print and no original or antique editions were found online for sale. It has a lot of illustrations that may be hand colored - particularly of men from different countries and continents like Italy, Turkey, Africa, etc (not surprisingly none of these descriptions were PC and some were quite racist!). Do I have something rare here or is this book run of the mill? Appreciate your time.

Hi all,

I'm new to this group. I'm starting my very first retrieval / cycle this month. Period is due to start on 2 May after which point I start the injections. My military reserve unit has asked me to go on temporary duty to Germany for two weeks at the end of June. While normally I would jump at this opportunity, I'm scared that two weeks overseas will ruin things. The doctor didn't seem too concerned and said they could place any embryos in cryo until I get back and prepare for a transfer. For those that are experienced with IVF, what would you do? Would it be foolish to disrupt the process and go overseas?

Edit: I should add that I just turned 39 and feel a lot of pressure!
