The study listed an intended completion time of 60 minutes. When I actually hit the 60‑minute mark, my progress bar was only at 22%. I kept going, assuming the end had to be close, but that wasn’t the case.

At around 102 minutes, the AI started repeating questions it had already asked earlier. After the second repeat, I stopped answering and asked if the interview was almost over, since I was already close to double the posted time on Prolific.

Even at 102 minutes, the progress bar still showed 46%.

The AI immediately apologized and ended the interview. Then I noticed the max allowed time was 360 minutes, which I guess is how long it was prepared to run if I hadn’t said anything.

Just wanted to share in case anyone else runs into this one.
