Bulk billed ultrasounds
I’m in Sydney and in the process of moving. I’m confused as to which ultrasounds are supposed to be bulk billed by Medicare? I’m only 10 weeks pregnant but I think I have messed up big time by doing my dating scan at 8 weeks with Harbour Radiology as now I will be paying $150 “gap” for any further scans? Whereas another clinic closer to where I am moving to states they bulk bill pregnancy scans if they are done at the same clinic. I really feel like I messed up here!
Am I able to get another dating scan and pretend I never did it with another clinic? Lol…
Btw I can afford it, it just feels like a joke being told that I’ll have to pay when the clinic down the road to me would have bulk billed them all should I have waited an extra 2 weeks! Hmmmm… opinions?
