Trying to get honest opinions in 2026. I see the hotel we were going to stay at (Grand Californian or something) is undergoing renovations this summer when we are planning to go. Prices start at like 1k a night for family of three which is fine if its nice . Is there a nicer hotel in this area to stay at thats worth spending 1-2k a night on? It doesn't necessarily need to be super family friendly because our child is quite young and will just be sleeping there but i'm used to staying at nicer places and was not impressed with the photos at that price point for the GC. Thanks for all advice.
