Im working on a much more proffessional old styled map.
red line represents ceasefireline of 1972.
Most people of this reiogn prefer independence from india and pakistan.

when people make alternate history maps or maps showing data such as cencus data of 1941 of jammu kashmir trhey ususally use district bounduries that do not reflect pre conflict ones. i would suggest they refer tot the bounduries on this map.
