Years ago, Kaiser refused to give me guardians because they said I don’t have heart disease. I pointed out to them that the year before I had a triple bypass for clogged arteries and why doesn’t that count as heart disease.🤣 I then had to fight with them because they claimed the doctor never told them I had heart disease. And I pointed out well you never asked, but it’s all in my record anyway.
So today I got a message from Kaiser saying that they’ve changed my prescription from Jardiance to Farxiga, because I’m guessing Farxiga is now generic. It’s probably OK, but they wrote in my message that they’ve checked with my care team and it’s fine. But that’s is a lie! I don’t see doctors at Kaiser, but I am required to get the medicines from them.
I’m reading that there’s no real difference between the two. Any thoughts on this?
