Forza Horizon 6 Benches - Ray Tracing Edition

This is a very good RT for these cards. RX9070XT is doing very well. Computerbase.de

Holy Discount Radeon !!!

This is close to MSRP in the UK. If you didn't get it yet, I think it might be time.

I used Nitro+ RX9070XT for 1 year without issues, including with the 12VHPWR. I was surprised by how stable the drivers were. However, recent silences from the company have me concerned. These are the reasons I switched to a 5080

  • Vulkan upscaling is better with Nvidia. Doom: The Dark Ages and Indiana Jones are still stuck with FSR3. I play a lot of ID Tech and Machine Games games,
  • 50-90% performance with Path Tracing, and more games that will use Path Tracing,
  • Multi-Frame Generation,
  • Better Anti Lag,
  • Ray Construction in more games,
  • DLSS 4.5 Model M for performance upscaling.
  • Slightly better Standard Ray Tracing,
  • More games support DLSS (older).
  • Frequent driver updates. Mine has been stable.
  • Gaming average TDP ~ 240W. Better than RX9070XT (330W)
  • GPU Temp when gaming average: 60C

What I love about Radeon RX9070XT:

  • Adrenaline is really good
  • Good Ray Tracing
  • Rasterisation is close to or on Par with the 5080 (0-20%), depending on the game.
  • FSR4 is good, and more new games will support this.
  • Drivers were good in my use case and stable.

I will buy RDNA 5 when it comes out. I understand that AMD has its hands full with Xbox, PlayStation, and other handhelds, but it also needs to invest in Radeon dGPUs.
