Will be in lassen volcanic NP mid-late June and am hoping to climb Lassen Peak. With spikes and trekking poles, will it be doable? Any advice or things I should know going in?
This past year, I spent half the year working at a 1099-C job and set aside ~25% of my income monthly for taxes. Then I spent half the year in school getting this taxable 1099-NEC stipend and set aside ~15% of that monthly. I ended up owing a grand total of ~17% of my total income (both from the job and stipend) in taxes this year, so I had just a bit extra set aside, which is great.
This year, I’m worried I won’t have enough set aside monthly from the stipend, and I’m a little confused about how my taxes might look different without the job and just having the stipend to pay taxes on. Does anyone have advice for how much to set aside monthly? I receive ~$2700 per month. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Trying to start growing herbs. Just noticed this fluffy looking stuff today in the soil with parsley. Does this look like mold? If so, how do I take care of it?
