On the shrine world of Vigilum Prime, a catastrophic misunderstanding of divine will has ignited a clash between two of the Emperor's most devout protectors. The Black Templars, driven by an unyielding crusader’s zeal, seek to claim the sacred "Relics of Saint Caesar" to bolster their front-line banners, viewing the stationary interment of such power as a waste of holy resources. Conversely, the Battle Sisters of the Adepta Sororitas regard any removal of these artifacts as an unforgivable act of sacrilege, meeting the Space Marines' advance with a wall of bolter fire and sanctified flame. As chainswords clash against blessed power mauls, both sides pray for the same Emperor’s favor, locked in a tragic paradox where their shared fanaticism ensures that only through blood can their conflicting interpretations of duty be resolved.
