Who else had a hard recovery from a hysterectomy? Feeling defeated over here :(

I am 6 day post operative and woke up feeling defeated. Though I'm slowly on the mend, I didn't expect my recovery to be this hard. I am 49, healthy, active and fit. Also, think I have a high tolerance for pain and thought I would be one of those who said I barely had any pain and was up doing too much too soon. My surgery was robotic and my surgeon almost had to open me because my uterus was so large due to fibroids but thankfully he didn't. My surgery was early and went home in the afternoon. Anesthesia always makes me sick but usually by that time I leave, I am good. Not this time, I was really sick until about midnight plus the pain was bad. He gave me 5 Oxy (which was gone fast) and then ibuprofen and Gapapetin. Day 1 and 2 post op where a blur. I was so miserable. It was excruciating to get out of bed. I couldn't walk upright and still can't completely but at least I don't look like an old women walking anymore lol. Day 3 and 4 were a little easier but still was not good. Day 5 my bowls finally woke up so had some relief there. I still have a hard time getting up out of the bed and chairs. It is like I have no control over my stomach muscles and still it hurts. Feels like I have a pulled muscle on my right side. My biggest complaint right now, is I can’t sleep more than a few hours without waking up to my back throbbing. I end up having to take something to go back to sleep. The heating pad has been a life saver for this. I am used to sleeping like a rotisserie chicken 😊. I’m jealous of everyone who had minimal to no pain.
