Focus Group Livestream Set Up
I do user / market research that often involves in-person interviews and focus groups. I am looking to build a livestream set up so that our interviews can be viewed remotely by a team in another room. I have some video background but still a newbie when it comes to livestreaming.
Requirements:
- 3-4 Cameras to capture angles of interviewer and three participants at one time
- 4 mics to capture interviewer and three participants
- Livestream set up that will show all four angles at one time on the screen
- Somewhat mobile and movable so that if the interview moves to talk about a physical product we can shift camera angles / tripods to capture it.
My Original Set Up Idea:
- 3-4 Mevo Cameras on tripods
- 2 sets of DJI mics, connected with a headphone splitter to one of the mevo cameras so all audio goes to the same channel
- Using the Mevo app to show all angles at one time and livestream to a youtube channel.
My Concerns:
- Mevo cameras are only 1080p and no PTZ - will this be enough quality or should I go for 4k with PTZ capabilities.
- Is the mevo app reliable? Anybody have experience with it?
I would love feedback on this set up or if you have an alternative suggestion for a set up.
