Hi everyone, I’m currently looking for a private landlord or flexible rental in the Dallas area.
I’m in a transitional situation right now and need a place ASAP. I’ve been actively trying to secure steady employment, and I previously worked gig-based jobs (DoorDash, Spark, Amazon Flex). My transportation situation recently changed due to my car breaking down, which has made things more difficult.
I do have a supportive friend who is willing to assist and provide income support/co-sign if needed, so there is financial backing available for rent and move-in costs.
I’m responsible, quiet, and focused on getting stable again long-term.
I’m open to:

subleases
second chance rentals
higher deposit if required
For transparency: I do have an eviction filing that occurred recently, and I have a court date coming up. I am being upfront so there are no surprises, but I am actively trying to secure housing before things escalate further.
If anyone has leads or knows of landlords willing to work with situations like this, I would really appreciate it.
