Hello all,
I recently noticed on my 2010 Rav4 v6 Sport that the air vent mode selector would get stuck when trying to change from windshield defrost to upper/lower seat vents. I opened up the front trim, and then inspected where the cable leads to the gears and blend door that changes the air directions.
The white gear circled in red will hardly spin, it seems a bit loose when moving it laterally but I cannot remove it. The black gear circled in blue I popped out and span to see if it worked, spins just fine. And the blend door circled in yellow will not move much, it seems connected to the white gear inside as they both move a bit when I try to move them.

Has anyone seen something like this before? Or sees something that looks problematic?
