I hate making posts just for the sake of a giveaway and have actually stopped entering most because it feels forced and awkward, however, I definitely understand the attempt at raising participation and activity in the sub.
But I do love it in here because it is the one place in reddit where so many people are helpful and informative and the biggest thing, nice! Lol reddit can be a tough place to be. It sure is entertaining though. I will try to be more active, I just feel like I am still learning a lot from you guys and jumping in to talk about something I'm not super educated on yet makes me feel like I would just get in the way. I enjoy you guys posts. Especially the compression posts. You guys can spot stuff I would never notice. Hell even after you guys point something out sometimes I still can't see the difference.
So in the spirit of a giveaway post, does anyone else kind of feel awkward making a post like this? What are your thoughts? And what are some idea that could get the same results to gaining activity in place of a giveaway post? I would love to see you guys answers. And hey, it might be helpful for the community.
I'm not sure if this post even counts since it isn't watch related. But it is what I wanted to discuss and get opinions on.
Also in the spirit of watches I will post my current WOTD (not a rep so I hope that is ok.) It is a watch I had produced for a club I'm in. Every now and then we will make a watch for the club.
