Brought this little guy home from the shelter today. He’s a 7ish year old beagle dachshund who came from an animal hoarding situation. He’s still healing from his surgeries - hence the cone of shame. The shelter named him Daffy but he doesn’t seem like a Daffy and doesn’t really respond to Daffy. The other dog in the household is Chloe, a terrier mix. Names I’ve considered are: Scout, Nugget, Ollie/Oliver. TIA for suggestions.
Update 4/27- I tried some of the suggested names on the little guy this morning. He seemed a bit more overwhelmed this morning. Will try again later on.
update #2- thank you to everyone for your input. We have been testing different names on the little guy all day and have landed on Scout. Welcome home Scout!! Promise the cone will go away soon.
