I'll go first: someone once told me that if you’re the kind of person who notices beautiful things in others, then those things already exist within you 😭 and honestly that stuck with me so badly because maybe all the softness, kindness and love we see in people says something about us too

On another occasion. I got told I have a very soft pretty voice from someone random 😭 and that made my whole week honestly, Since then, I randomly compliment strangers, mostly women- hair, clothes, their laugh... anything that might make their day! I'd much rather be the reason someone smiles than the reason they frown.

I live in the Middle East, our IGCSEs had to get cancelled, so we had to do them through a portfolio system instead. Basically, our school made us sit mocks again and are now using those as our actual IGCSE grades.

The whole thing has been so hectic. They made us do multiple papers in one day too, like Paper 4, Paper 2, and Paper 6 together, and for other subjects as well, like Psychology Paper 1 and 2 on the same day. On top of that, the mocks happened way before the actual IGCSE dates, so my entire study schedule got ruined, how I planned to spend 2+ months only grinding pastpapers etc. And also the mocks schedule repeatedly changing.

Now that it’s all over, I keep realising how many mistakes I made. Not even necessarily in the papers themselves, but in my preparation, time management, and everything overall.

I know the school was probably tried to match Cambridge standards as closely as possible, feels like they made the papers really hard. I honestly did so badly, and I don’t even want to open my report card because I already know I messed up so badly.
