Hey everyone,

I need an A* in Edexcel Maths this year and could really use some advice from people who’ve done it/are scoring in the high 90s.

Right now I’ve done pretty much all the past papers, and I’m consistently scoring around 85–89%. I know that’s solid, but with grade boundaries likely creeping up, I feel like I need to be hitting 95% to feel safe.

My issue isn’t big gaps in content anymore, it’s more:

Silly mistakes / dropping easy marks
Occasionally getting stuck on the last few harder questions
Timing pressure in some papers, but I do manage to finish all the questions

For those of you who managed to break into that 95%+ range:

What actually made the difference for you?
How did you reduce careless errors?
Are there specific resources or techniques that helped at that level?
How do you revise when you’ve already done most/all past papers?

At this point I feel like I’m close, but not quite there, and I’m not sure what to change to make that final jump.
