I want him shorter only if it's going to be beneficial for him.

Pros would be less tangles, he hates being brushed, less burs, seeds, ticks, mud ect. Might be cooler for him in the heat. Fur will dry faster after baths or swimming.

Cons, his hair might not grow back the same, he does look cute/handsome with long hair, it's the natural breed standard/appearance.

What is all your opinions on giving summer cuts to papillons. Is it worth it?
