Hey guys - so post rebuild I'm finally getting to floor this car (not my car pictured... Just click bait :P) and not skip a tooth or roast my clutch. I know these cars have linear power bands, but man it almost feels like the power output past five or six k to Red line is basically flat.
Like when that resonance flap opens at 5:00, I can hear it and feel it, but then it just doesn't pull like a screamer. I swear I get more fun out of four to six than from six to Red line?
Anything you can possibly think of is new on this engine except for my air filter! Now that I think about it that could easily be the issue, right?
And to get more technical, when I was driving and my brother had the computer, he noted that the car was saying 100% throttle but only 85% torque delivery / engine load??
