I recently bought the fire red re-release for my switch 2. The nostalgia kick got me interested in Pokémon again so I was thinking of buying scarlet or violet.
I’ve seen there are minor glitches and graphical issues. I’m not too bothered about this. The only potential issue I have is with the difficulty of the games.
I realise it’s a Pokémon game and will not be massively difficult without self-imposed rules, but my most recent experience with a mainline Pokémon game (before fire red) was the gen 4 remakes. I gave up on that game around badge 6 or 7 because, from what I remember, I ended up with my party about 10 levels above even the gym leaders. I was basically walking through the world pressing ‘A’ and sweeping all before me. It was a bit tedious in my opinion.
How does the difficulty compare in scarlet and violet? Is it worth buying if I had a bad experience with some of the other newer games being too easy?
