Design ideas? Help me fix my leg!

Just got married in Vegas at the end of March and got matching tattoos with my husband. I love the tattoo, but I think it’s too big for my thigh in a style I’m not used to.

In the first photo, you’ll see I had a Swallow on my thigh. It fits the contour of my leg and I thought it was sexy!

With the hearts & lock, I got the minimum size the shop wanted to offer. It feels blocky and like it didn’t take the shape of my leg into consideration. I’m short (5”2) so I feel like it cuts me off in a straight line & and isn’t doing much for my body shape

I’m really not digging how they look together. Naturally, I’ll need to add more!!

I need ideas or advice… what can I add to that leg to make it feel more feminine and less frumpy? Maybe something pulling attention away from the lock and up my thigh/hip? Or wrapping around the leg like a garder?

Also, I’ve never had a tattoo designed for me. How do I approach an artist to say hey! Fix me! Let’s draw something? I’m in Philly. Will travel up to 2-3 hours in any direction for a great artist

Low color contrast?

I am watching the Jack Black/White episode. I’m noticing that the color contrast is really low on the skits. I’m a TV producer - so to me, this almost looks like LOG footage (a color profile that records flat on purpose so that you can “color” it later in post production).

I’m wondering if this is a stylistic choice, or a mistake/time management issue that can be credited to the nature of live TV?
