Hi r/lupus, my brother in law is getting married in June in Wyoming (about a 20 hour drive away). The plan was to take 4 days to drive with our family and camp along the way. As it gets closer though, I’m starting to get really worried about a possible flare up, especially with being in the car for extended periods and the switch up in my routine.
I’m curious to see if anyone else has attempted a long roadtrip or camping since being diagnosed and, if so, do you have any advice or tips? I’m thinking that setting up some sort of car camping situation with an air mattress and foam topper might be better than a tent.
Overall, I’m so stressed about making this work (I can’t afford a flight) and potentially being in pain the whole time we’re there.
