Best restaurant near the Louvre?

Hello,

I am going to spend a full day at the Louvre soon, and I’m really excited to discover the museum for the first time!! I was wondering what the best option for lunch would be. I saw that there are a few restaurants inside the museum that look nice, what do you think about them? I'm also open for recommendations outside but still close to the museum. Thanks!

I ended up giving in and stepping into Ritz Paris Le Comptoir… and yeah, no regrets. Everything inside looks ridiculously good. I spent a solid few minutes just staring at the display, even the packaging feels premium. You can really tell there’s a crazy level of attention to detail.

Not gonna lie though, it’s definitely on the expensive side, around €5 for a pain au chocolat and €15 for a sandwich. But, you don’t come here to complain about prices.

The place itself is super cozy, really beautiful inside. And and I’ll let you enjoy those little pyramids of madeleines, which look absolutely incredible.

I’d love to surprise my girlfriend with a proper French-style picnic. We’re thinking of sitting somewhere along the Seine, what would you recommend buying? I don’t mind spending a bit, I really want us to enjoy it and have something special. No allergies, we eat everything.

Also, if you know any cool little grocery stores or specialty shops to pick up great products, I’d love your recommendations. Thanks in advance for your help!
