Guys!!! Have any of you dealt with anal glads?!
My 15 week old Springer pup will release his when hes relaxed and sitting on my lap.. it’s SOOO GROSS! It goes all over and makes us throw up almost.
It seems like they just leak out. Not every day but like at least once or twice a week now and it happens a lot when he’s laying on my lap relaxing on a car ride. Photo of the anal gland leakage culprit! Lol I just started him on probiotics with pumpkin.

I recently got an English Springer spaniel pup. Brought him home at 8 weeks old.
He sleeps in his crate every night, 10:30pm to 7am-8am.
He learns fast and can be very sweet when he wants to be.
But, he has been an absolute terror lately! And I’m starting to have some regrets! I feel like my entire life now revolves around him and his needs and my life before is just.. gone. No peace, no quiet.
He is 15 weeks old today.
I’ve had dogs my entire life but it’s been 10 years since I last had a puppy(my youngest dog is now 10 years old and his two brothers have since passed away(in 2021 and 2024). I couldn’t see my life without a dog.
But this new puppy.. I honestly don’t remember any of my dogs being so insanely rambunctious with zero off switch. He won’t even cuddle us at all, and if we try, he just growls at us and bites and wiggles. I’ve tried rewarding him for relaxing but it doesnt seem to stick. I’ve heard maybe he isn’t sleeping enough. But man, I really don’t remember puppies being so… insane. lol please tell me I am not alone.
