I seek advice for a critically ill friend. He resides in S Korea and after heart surgery, needs to take attruby which costs $20,000 a month. The hospital helped him apply for discount as he isn’t working and doesn’t have income. Cost is $10,000 USD a month which he still cannot afford after selling and borrowing money for 2 months. I cant watch a friend die and called Bridgebio. I received email for his MD to appeal to, asking for compassionate use or a payment plan. Bridgebio is heartless and ignored the MD’s plea and raised the amt to $15,000. Financial asst is for Americans only but there is no help for a dying man who lives in Asia? He is willing to pay when he is well and can work. Anyone knows how I can help him? I already paid for his 3 surgeries and barely can afford my own bills.
