This is an animated movie from maybe the early 2000s. The cover photo on the DVD is an orange dog standing next to his mom a dark brown dog on a mountain or rock. The dog meets a line of ants at one point and watches them curiously as a song plays. The mom and orange dog get into a fight with I think a mountain lion and the mom sadly dies. I cant remember the name but I know what the cover of the DVD looks like 😭
