Hey everyone! I’m planning my summer courses and could really use some honest feedback.

I’m thinking of taking PSY327 – Psychology of Intimate Relationships with Emily Impett. I’ve never had her before. How is she as a prof? Is the course manageable in the summer?

I also need to fulfill an upper‑year BBB or Perception/Cognition/Communication requirement, but I’m not a science‑heavy student at all. Biology is not my strong suit, so I’m trying to choose the least bio‑intense option.

I’m deciding between:

  • PSY372 – Human Memory (with Manda Fischer)
  • PSY397 – Neuroplasticity and Behaviour

If anyone has taken these courses, especially with these instructors, how were the lectures, tests, and overall workload? Which one is more doable for someone who doesn’t thrive in biology‑based courses?

Any advice would help a lot!
