hey! I'm was wondering if I could pm anyone who has previously transferred to amherst. also, I'm wondering if amherst takes transfers from 4-yr unis, if anyone knows.

I'm interested in transferring for spring '27 for compsci/econ/english

I want to go into ib or consulting. Currently at a target for investment banking, but think I'd be happier at Wesleyan. Can anyone who has transferred pm me?

I'm majoring in comp science, but I also wanna explore Econ and creative writing--at my current school, despite it being ranked highly, that isn't possible. I was hoping that amhersts and browns open curriculums would let me explore all three fields.

Undergrad GPA: 3.818
HS GPA: 101.36; 12 APs, 1490 SAT
Aid-seeking applicant at a 4-year T20

ECs:

1. Consulting Analyst for a top 10 consulting firm; presented research to firm
2. Undergrad AME research (Machine Learning primarily)
3. Data Analyst for the same consulting firm
4. 4-6: HS Research Internships (In different fields)
5. 7-10: Other hs things; very high impact

Not sure if it makes sense for me to transfer in the spring, as I am aid-seeking, and amherst only really takes cc transfers (to my knowledge)
