Just a short comparison of the Apex 4 and the Pace 2 after a couple of weeks with the Apex.
Size: On paper both are nearly identical except for the thickness but in real life the Apex feels like a much bigger watch still light and comfortable but it doesnt disappear on your wrist like the pace does. I'm glad I picked the 42mm version.
Feel: the Apex feels much more premium than I expected despite the mostly plastic build. Big upgrade compared to Pace.
Battery: apex 4 min. 2 weeks up to 3 weeks depending on your workouts. Pace 2 about 10 - 15 days.
general upgrades:
Heart Rate: during a run the apex measures my correct heart rate faster than the pace about 1-2 min while the pace can take up to 5-10 min to get the correct values especially in cold weather.
GPS: faster to connect, more precise, maps are a huge plus for cycling and hikeing.
Media Control:: works fine, nice comfort plus for running
overall I'm happy with the Upgrade, sold my old pace 2 within 1 day (€ 45) online 😄
But for ppl who want small watches with MIPS display there are not many options anyway...
